Tucked just off Newbury’s main drag is Weavers Coffee Shop. This place couldn’t care less about looking like a Blank Street clone, and thank God for that. Instead of neon signs and overpriced lattes, you get homemade food that actually tastes of something and drinks that warm you up rather than just look good on Instagram.
It’s clearly a local favourite, but not in that “we’re going to stare at you as you walk in the door” way.
More like: grab a seat, relax, you’re welcome. Out front, tables spill down a little side street that feels made for people-watching in the sun, and inside there’s a whole extra floor to soak up the buzz without fighting for space.
