The Raven

The Raven is one of the best Pubs we’ve been to so far – if you’re a fan of Real Ale this really is a must-visit. The Raven offers 4 regularly changed guest ales (cask and keg) and their house beers as well – when visiting it’s even possible to do an indoor bar crawl through the multiple bars they have set across different floors and all themed differently (definitely check out ‘the Library’!).

Bath is known as a Real Ale city, and the Raven could definitely be considered the jewel in the crown. The staff are knowledgeable, the food offering is good (expect hot pub food as well as a range of bar snacks) and the vibe is great. It’s centrally located, not too far from major attractions including the Royal Crescent.

The only reason The Raven didn’t hit our top score is the lack of a beer garden, but that’s to be expected as a pub so centrally located in Bath.
