The Duke of Edinburgh is hidden in the backstreets between Clapham and Brixton. The pub itself is fairly small, with a traditional feel – you can imagine it filled with a cloud of smoke ‘in the old days’, but there’s more to it than that…
As you wander through to the back, you’ll find a leafy tunnel, at the end of which you’ll find a huge, colourful beer garden – and not just a beer garden. They’ve got a fully fledged bar, huge screens for sport and a plethora of tables, umbrellas and those cabins which are popping up in beer gardens all over.
The Duke of Edinburgh is located off the well-trodden paths of Clapham and Brixton, but if traversing between, it’s definitely worth stopping by (especially if you’re with a big group’.
