Temple Bar may be an area known to be swarming with tourists, and whilst you can’t miss it if you’re a visitor, there is one diamond in the rough in the form of the Palace Bar.
This Victorian drinking house is a genuinely brilliant place for a drink – without arrogance or pretentiousness – a true Dublin gem.
With a narrow bar area at the front, the pub opens up into a square room at the back adorned with old paintings and wooden panels – there are a few tables in here so probably your best bet for a seat.
